Two Groups
I've been around for nearly 72 years. I was born in 1948 in the United States, and have lived in several different countries. My father was in the United States Air Force. I've lived in Germany for three years, England for 3 and a half years, France, and Belgium.
I remember the Cuban Missle Crisis, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Vietnam, the Cold War, the tearing down of the Berlin Wall, the fall of the U.S.S.R., and many, many other major events.
Yet, I never felt or imagined the world was so close to some catastrophic, life-ending event--until now.
The entire world is in conflict, and the Muslims and Hispanics play a large part in many of the conflicts. There is a major crisis in Hong Kong. Trouble in the Middle East. England, and France.
In the United States, there is an unprecedented number of murders, mass shootings, school shootings, stabbings, robberies, thefts (porch pirates, for instance), and rapes. Often people are shot outside of bars in the parking lots.
There is a very scary number of incidents like I've never seen ever before.
If you believe in the Christian God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, maybe what is happening even as close as in your own neighborhood is scaring you, as well.
I imagine God being really very angry with us, and it won't be long before God says, "ENOUGH! It's. time to bring this to an end." Then he tells Jesus, "It's time for your second coming."
I live in San Antonio, a city that used to be a fun and safe city, a city where you could go downtown and walk around with no fear of encountering any trouble.
But now, much to my disappointment, San Antonio is a sanctuary city. We have an enormous number of Mexicans who are here illegally, and the only way they know how to make a living is by stealing, burglarizing homes, businesses, and automobiles. There is a dramatic increase in the number of murders, assaults, and rapes.
Hispanics as young as 18--and even younger--are being arrested for armed robberies and murders. They have their entire lives ahead of them--then they screw it up permanently because it is macho to rob, steal, and kill.
Macho in English means stupid. So, to be a real, authentic Hispanic/Mexican, a young man must do something macho (stupid in English). Stab someone. Shoot someone. Murder someone. Rob someone. Rape someone. As long as it is violent the act shows the Hispanic/Mexican is truly macho (stupid in English).
Then there are the gangs, the drug cartels. Mexico is a violent country. It contributes absolutely nothing positive or constructive to the world. Mexico is basically a cultural wasteland worthy of a nuclear bomb or two.
Cell phones and the Internet have played major parts in the corruption that surrounds us.
Children have no respect for anyone, not even their parents. The language of children is atrocious. Grade school kids talking like truck drivers and sailors.
Oh, I could go on and on--but I think I've made my point.
I have a very strong feeling Jesus is "Just Around the Corner". I have a very strong feeling the bad are going to be discarded like corn husks and burned.
The good will be taken up with Jesus.
